The following is not legal advice, just my 1st amendment opinion. Seek your own legal counsel on the matter.
The Logan Act is one of the most critical yet underutilized laws in the United States, designed to prevent unauthorized individuals from interfering in American foreign policy. Enacted in 1799, the law explicitly prohibits private citizens from engaging in negotiations with foreign governments that are involved in disputes with the United States. Violating the Logan Act is a felony punishable by fines and up to three years in prison—and make no mistake, If Democratic Senators Chris Murphy, Amy Klobuchar, and Sheldon Whitehouse blatantly violated this law in their recent sabotage of President Trump’s diplomatic efforts with Ukraine, they should be immediately prosecuted for it.
What is the Logan Act?
The Logan Act (18 U.S.C. § 953) states:
"Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."
This law is not optional—it is designed to protect U.S. foreign policy from rogue interference, preventing private individuals from undermining official government negotiations. Historically, it has been weaponized against conservatives while Democrats have violated it with impunity. General Michael Flynn was accused of violating the Logan Act in 2017 for merely speaking with a Russian ambassador during a presidential transition—yet the Democrats’ latest stunt seems far more blatant and intentional.
How Did Murphy, Klobuchar, and Whitehouse Violate the Logan Act?
To be clear, I do not agree that the United States should enter into a minerals deal that I consider blood money and part of a racketeering scheme by the deep state to pillage Ukraine. But at the same time, I'm not going to reach out to the corrupt Zelensky and try to dissuade him from accepting the deal either. The audacity to do such a thing is mind blowing! The crime seems clear. Before President Trump’s scheduled White House meeting with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, Democratic Senators Chris Murphy, Amy Klobuchar, and Sheldon Whitehouse allegedly secretly met with Zelensky and pressured him to reject Trump’s mineral deal. This direct interference in U.S. foreign policy was not only an act of political sabotage—it was a criminal act, explicitly violating the Logan Act.
By telling Zelensky not to accept a deal with the Trump administration, these Senators interfered with official U.S. foreign policy negotiations to obstruct a legitimate agreement that the United States was seeking. They acted on their own, with no executive authority, no legal standing, and no official permission—a textbook Logan Act violation.
Why Haven’t They Been Arrested?
@realDonaldTrump and @SusieWiles you remember when General Flynn was accused of violating the Logan Act—over a simple phone call during an official transition period—the entire media and deep state establishment demanded his head on a platter. The DOJ dragged Flynn through years of legal hell, despite the fact that his actions were far less egregious than the deliberate sabotage conducted by Murphy, Klobuchar, and Whitehouse.
The double standard is undeniable. If a Republican had done what these three Senators just did, they would already be in handcuffs. @AGPamBondi and @FBIDirectorKash and @dbongino need to investigate this asap and refer for prosecution.
Other Possible Crimes
In addition to the Logan Act, their actions could potentially constitute:
Obstruction of U.S. Foreign Policy (18 U.S.C. § 371) – Conspiracy to defraud the United States by obstructing lawful government negotiations.
Treason (18 U.S.C. § 2381) – While treason is a high bar, interfering with U.S. foreign negotiations for political gain at the expense of national interests could be argued as an act against the nation. These people are so brazenly out of control they think they can do anything in their rabid frenzy to obstruct a sitting president and this should not be tolerated.
Fraud and Misuse of Office (18 U.S.C. § 1001) – Misrepresenting their role to a foreign leader to manipulate U.S. policy.
18 U.S.C. § 951 – Acting as an Unregistered Foreign Agent: If Congress members coordinated with Ukraine in a way that benefited foreign interests against U.S. policy, this could be invoked.
A Call for Immediate Arrests!
Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel must show STRENGTH and immediately move to arrest and prosecute Senators Murphy, Klobuchar, and Whitehouse to the fullest extent of the law. SEND A STRONG MESSAGE! No more selective enforcement. No more double standards. The American people demand equal justice under the law!
These Democratic officials sabotaged a sitting President’s negotiations with a foreign leader to preserve their own power and undermine U.S. interests. This cannot be ignored.
Share, Comment, and Demand Action!
Every patriot must share this article and demand prosecution for these corrupt officials. If Flynn was investigated, then so should Murphy, Klobuchar, and Whitehouse!
The law is clear. The evidence is undeniable. Now it's time for the arrests.
