1. Introduction
From the time of Abraham onward, God established a unique covenant with the people of Israel—one that granted them special privileges but also demanded obedience. When Israel obeyed, God blessed them; when they disobeyed, He judged them, often sending foreign nations to bring them low. The ultimate biblical offense—and the reason for their most severe judgment—was rejecting Jesus Christ (Luke 19:41–44; John 1:11).
At the same time, the#Bible warns all other nations not to exalt themselves against Israel, because God will judge their arrogance as well (Isaiah 10:5–7; Zechariah 12:2–3). Ultimately, Scripture prophesies a day when all nations will gather against Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2), leading to the brink of Israel’s annihilation, only averted by the physical return of Jesus to fight on her behalf (Matthew 24:21–22; Zechariah 14:3–4).
President Trump and other world leaders, you face a grave risk if you attempt to manage Israel’s destiny—whether by unconditional support that overlooks sin or by hostile aggression. God alone has the right to judge Israel (Isaiah 33:22). He will hold the whole world accountable for rejecting Jesus Christ.
2. Israel’s Historical Punishments for Disobedience
The Old Testament details multiple cycles of Israel falling into idolatry, sin, and rebellion, resulting in exile or slavery. These are not just historical curiosities; they illustrate God’s repeated pattern of discipline.
(a) Egyptian Bondage
Genesis 15:13–14 (KJV)
And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
Israel’s initial sojourn in Egypt began with Joseph but turned into harsh slavery, fulfilling the above prophecy.
Exodus 1:8–14 (KJV) excerpt
Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: Come on, let us deal wisely with them… Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens… And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour…
Though not explicitly a punishment for Israel’s sin, this bondage prefigures how God would later use foreign oppression each time Israel broke faith.
(b) Oppression During the Judges
After entering the Promised Land, Israel repeatedly turned to idolatry once Joshua and his generation died.
Judges 2:10–19 (KJV) excerpt
And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD… And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim… And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers… And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them… Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges… yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods…
Throughout Judges 3–16, we see repeated cycles:
Israel sins → God sends oppressors (Moabites, Midianites, Philistines, etc.) → Israel cries out → God raises a judge (e.g., Ehud, Deborah, Gideon, Samson) → Israel delivered → Israel relapses into sin.
This pattern foreshadows the larger exiles under Assyria and Babylon.
(c) Assyrian Captivity
Israel’s northern kingdom sank into deep idolatry; God warned them through prophets like Hosea, yet they refused to repent.
2 Kings 17:6–23 (KJV) excerpt
In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria… For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God… And they set them up images and groves in every high hill… Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets… Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks… Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight…
Hosea 1:2 (KJV)
The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms… for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
The entire book of Hosea (chapters 1–14) is a prophetic indictment of Israel’s unfaithfulness, likened to spiritual adultery.
(d) Babylonian Exile
Judah (the southern kingdom) followed the same path of rebellion, culminating in Babylon destroying Jerusalem and the Temple (586 BC).
2 Kings 24:2–4 (KJV) excerpt
And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees… according to the word of the LORD… for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; And also for the innocent blood that he shed…
2 Kings 25:8–11 (KJV) excerpt
And in the fifth month… came Nebuzaradan… a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem: And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king’s house… And the rest of the people that were left in the city… did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.
2 Chronicles 36:15–21 (KJV) excerpt
And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people… But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people… Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees… to fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah…
Jeremiah 25:8–9 (KJV)
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words, Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north… and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof…
Ezekiel likewise prophesies God’s presence leaving the Temple due to abominations (Ezekiel 8–11).
(e) Roman Destruction of Jerusalem
Moving into the New Testament era, Israel’s greatest offense was rejecting their Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Luke 19:41–44 (KJV)
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee… and shall lay thee even with the ground… because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
Matthew 23:37–39 (KJV)
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee… Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Jesus’ words were fulfilled in 70 AD when the Romans laid siege to Jerusalem, tore down the Temple stone by stone, and scattered the Jews among the nations.
3. Biblical #Warnings: Blessings and Curses
Centuries before these exiles, God provided a clear legal framework for Israel’s blessings and curses:
Leviticus 26:14–17 (KJV) excerpt
But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments… I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague… and ye shall be slain before your enemies…
Deuteronomy 28:15 (KJV)
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God… that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee…
Deuteronomy 30:1–3 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse… and thou shalt call them to mind… That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee…
These passages predict exile but also promise restoration once Israel repents.
4. Israel’s Rejection of Christ and Gentile Inclusion
(a) Major Texts on Israel’s Rejection
Matthew 21:42–44 (KJV)
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner… Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof…
John 1:11 (KJV)
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
(b) Only a Remnant Will Be Saved
Romans 9:27–28 (KJV), quoting Isaiah 10:22–23
Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness…
NIV Version: Isaiah cries out, "Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved. For the Lord will carry out his sentence on earth with speed and finality."
Zechariah 13:8–9 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire… They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
In the end, most of Israel faces judgment, yet a small, refined group—a remnant—is preserved.
(c) Gentiles Called to Salvation
Hosea 2:23 (KJV)
And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people…
Romans 9:25–26 (KJV)
As he saith also in Osee (Hosea), I will call them my people, which were not my people… And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
Romans 11:11–12 (KJV)
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy… Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles…
The partial hardening of Israel leads to the Gentiles being grafted in, provoking Israel to jealousy. Ultimately, God will show mercy to Israel again, but only after a time of severe judgment.
5. God Uses Nations to Punish—Then Judges Those Nations
Isaiah 10:5–7 (KJV)
O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation… Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so…
NIV Version: 5 Woe to Assyria, the rod of my anger;
the staff in their hands is my fury!
6 Against a godless nation I send him,
and against the people of my wrath I command him,
to take spoil and seize plunder,
and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 But he does not so intend,
and his heart does not so think;
but it is in his heart to destroy,
and to cut off nations not a few;
God calls Assyria the “rod” of His anger—He uses it to discipline Israel, yet He later punishes Assyria for acting with pride and cruelty (Isaiah 10:12)NIV: When the Lord has finished all his work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he will say, “I will punish the king of Assyria for the willful pride of his heart and the haughty look in his eyes.
Habakkuk 1–2 similarly shows how Babylon is raised up to chasten Judah but is then judged for its violence.
Zechariah 12:2–3 (KJV)
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about… And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces…
This warns every modern power: meddling with Jerusalem—to crush or to prop up—carries severe consequences. Genesis 12:3 likewise declares:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee…
But blessing Israel doesn’t mean endorsing her sins (Like the Genocide in Gaza, Or starting wars at Israel's request!! THESE ARE SINS by the USA! God will judge us for them if we do not repent!). The prophets themselves lambasted Israel when she forsook God. True support is to uphold God’s purposes and call Israel to repentance in Christ.
THIS IS THE GREAT ERROR OF THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, MOST BLIND EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS WHO SUPPORT ISRAEL AT ALL COST, AS WELL AS AIPAC!! In these last days, America MUST back away from Israel!
6. End-Time Prophecy: Israel Nearly Wiped Out
(a) Zechariah 12 & 14
Zechariah 12:2–3 (KJV)
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about… and all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Zechariah 14:2–4 (KJV) excerpt
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken… Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations… And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives…
Here, God Himself gathers all nations against Jerusalem, punishing Israel for her sins but then turning to fight those nations for their wicked sins as well.
(b) Joel 3:1–2
Joel 3:1–2 (KJV)
For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people…
The same theme: a future gathering of all nations to face judgment for their wrongdoing against God’s people—even while God uses them as instruments of discipline.
(c) The Great Tribulation & The Cutting Short of Days
Jesus prophesied a time of trouble so severe that, if not shortened, no one would survive:
Matthew 24:21–22 (KJV)
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world… And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Zechariah 13:8–9 (quoted above) indicates two-thirds in the land are cut off. Only one-third survives, refined by fire.
(d) The Rider on the Red Horse: Global War
Revelation depicts seals opened by the Lamb (Jesus), initiating judgments on the earth.
Revelation 6:3–4 (KJV)
And when he had opened the second seal… there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth… and there was given unto him a great sword.
This “red horse” unleashes global warfare, removing peace. Such catastrophic conflict sets the stage for the emergence of the Antichrist, the final gathering of nations against Israel, and the return of Christ (Revelation 19:11–16).
7. God’s Judgment on All Who Reject Jesus (Including Israel)
At the core of these prophecies is the rejection of Jesus—both by Israel and by the nations:
Psalm 2:12 (KJV): Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way…
John 3:18 (KJV): He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already…
2 Thessalonians 1:7–9 (KJV): …the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel…
Matthew 25:31–32 (KJV): When the Son of man shall come in his glory… before him shall be gathered all nations…
Even Israel, the chosen nation, does not escape if they reject the Messiah (Luke 19:41–44). Other nations likewise face judgment for unbelief. In short, no one is exempt from bowing to Jesus. Nations or individuals who refuse are subject to eternal consequences.
8. A Plea to President Trump and World Leaders
Do Not Endorse Sin in Israel
Upholding their right to exist is not the same as endorsing morally corrupt policies or denying their need to repent and believe in Christ.
The prophets never excused Israel’s sin; they rebuked it.Do Not Attack Israel in Pride
God used Assyria and Babylon to punish Israel, but then He punished them for arrogance (Isaiah 10:5–7).
Zechariah 12:3: meddling with Jerusalem brings harm. Nations that fight Israel for their own glory will be judged.Recognize Israel’s Future Judgment Is Certain
God warns that eventually all nations (including the U.S., if it so chooses which I am trying to stop=remain neutral) will come against Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2).
Israel will be nearly wiped out until Jesus returns (Matthew 24:22; Zechariah 13:8–9).
4. Honor Jesus Christ
Rejecting Christ is the fundamental reason for Israel’s repeated judgments—and it will be the cause of condemnation for any nation that stands against Him (John 3:18).
If you want God’s blessing, submit to the Son (Psalm 2:12).
5. In essence: trying to “fix” Israel through political maneuvering places your nation at risk. Let God’s plan unfold, proclaim the gospel, and trust Him. He alone will fulfill His Word to discipline and eventually restore a remnant of Israel, while judging all nations (Zechariah 14:3; Joel 3:2) that refuse to acknowledge Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and The Son Of God!

This Prophet ultimately points to Christ. Rejecting Him brings judgment (Acts 3:22–23).
CONCLUSION
Israel’s long history of rebellion and restoration demonstrates how God punishes sin yet remains faithful to His covenant. In the New Testament, Israel’s gravest offense—rejecting Jesus Christ—led to the 70 AD destruction and centuries of exile. Still, the Bible foretells a future scenario in which all nations will gather against Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2), nearly eradicating the Jewish people until the Lord’s feet stand on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4). This final judgment also includes all other nations that reject Jesus Christ (Psalm 2:12; Revelation 19:15).
To President @realDonaldTrump and world leaders:
Do not lend blanket support to Israel’s sin.
Do not attack or punish her in arrogance.
Do recognize that God alone governs Israel’s fate, and He will refine her through tribulation.
Do accept Jesus Christ, for He is the ultimate King who judges both Israel and the nations.
As Scripture declares: “If those days had not been cut short, no flesh would be saved” (Matthew 24:22). Yet for the sake of the elect, God will intervene. Turn to the Son, lest you share in the judgments determined for every people who refuse His rightful rule. May this warning lead to repentance, not only for Israel, but for every nation under heaven.
May The Salvation, Grace, Mercy, And Peace Of The Lord Jesus Christ Be With You All.
In His Love,
